Jason Neumann first became a member of the association in January 1995 when he attended the convention in Washington, D.C. Since 2007, he has served the association in a wide variety of roles, beginning as a coach educator and later advancing to the Academy staff. In 2018, he was honored with the Mike Berticelli Excellence in Coaching Education Award.
In November 2010, Neumann joined the Convention Program Committee, and in January 2022 he received the association's
Letter of Commendation in recognition of his many contributions. Over the years, he has been a frequent convention presenter, appeared on several occasions on the association's podcast, and contributed on a regular basis a number of lesson plans to the Preseason Soccer Journal.
In June 2024, Neumann was appointed to the Transition Council, supporting the Board's efforts to reengineer and strengthen the association. As part of those efforts, he served initially with non-convention partnerships and then as the 2026 Philadelphia Convention Project Director.
His service on the Transition Council coincided with his election as Treasurer in April 2025, a position he held until June 2026, when he assumed the role of Partnerships Manager.
