The United Soccer Coaches Foundation’s mission is to provide financial support for coaching education and other developmental opportunities for United Soccer Coaches members who bring soccer to underserved socioeconomic communities and coaches communities. The Foundation’s primary program activity is direct financial support, through scholarships and grants, that provide coaching education programs and experiences.

Each year the United Soccer Coaches Foundation awards scholarships to members who need it most. There are three types of scholarships: Convention, Education, and Host-a-Course. The scholarship and grant application process opens in August and closes in September.

The Foundation’s named endowment funds include scholarships and grants open to all United Soccer Coaches members.

United Soccer Coaches has partnered with a leading insurance provider to give members a $1 million general liability policy included with membership.

United Soccer Coaches members in the United States automatically receive $1 million in general liability insurance, providing coverage for most soccer-related activities. This coverage typically comes into play when a lawsuit is filed against the coach for bodily injury or property damage.

This coverage is a personal liability policy (excess) that follows the member in their coaching and teaching capacity of soccer.

*Because it is an association-held policy, additional insured cannot be added to the policy, nor can the limits be changed.
